Hello, Im the webmaster of the nearly 10 year old site www.paratrooper.net and recently the owner of this site came into the forums and did a little self promoting for this site. http://www.paratrooper.net/commo/Topic238595-85-1.aspxNo respect was paid to me asking to promote the site which is just a little courtesy I ask for and after a few days waiting to see if the MP could follow site SOP and post an introduction and maybe do a little on the spot correction I noticed that here on this site, my static line snap hook graphic was stolen from my site and used here. Again without my permission. This is a piss poor way to launch your site in the airborne community. Since such disrespect has been done I feel it is fine for me to come on over and post here for the local visitors. If you would like to be part of a large and established paratrooper community including a lot of MP and LEO types, please visit www.paratrooper.net Just remember to follow the site SOP when you sign up and introduce yourself. It goes a long way.

Thank you for removing my snap hook image. I hope you can take a moment to square things away at my site and then we can hopefully help you out with access to quite a few MP and LEO types. Im all about the brotherhood and promoting other veteran sites (especially airborne) but just like the military some rules are required for good order and dicipline.

Hey Rigger82, I think you should have contacted Jim King on email and not through the message board. Talk about piss poor web etiquette on your part. It's obvious that this is a new website, and the webmaster (Jim) is new at this. Why not assist him to make his site better than coming on and tooting your own horn. You should have asked him what was the deal than blasting him. I thought Paratroopers assisted one another. Guess I was wrong.

This is a little while old but I ran into it and wanted to clear the air. I have no idea who is new and who isnt, a new site doesnt necessarily indicate a new webmaster. I might have been rough but we tried to get the issue cleared over on my site for a few days before it came over here. Guess I might have been a little overzealous but isnt that normal for paratroopers. I am happy to help out a fellow trooper and my email is open to any trooper who is looking for assistance. We just didnt know at the time who/what was going on. Now that jim knows to contact the webmaster before posting a link on a site forum and figuring out what he has going here, I think we'll be just fine. Again, sorry for the issues and my door is open, if there is a webmaster/website question I can answer, just let me know. Rigger [AT] paratrooper.net

Fortunately, not all of us who were in the 82n were airborne so we have no desire to go to the paratrooper site. BUT I am happy as heck to hear from all of my old buddies from the 3d Bde 82n MP Plt, I will be there next year! I will try and get as many of us as I can. Brodie Mullican
